    Communion: (by intinction)
Served on the first Sunday of the month at both services; ALL are welcomed to Christ's table. Stephen Ministers are present in the prayer corner to accompany those needing healing prayer.
  3. 11:00AM Worship
A lively blend with music provided by one of Wellspring's contemporary bands; a service with a more contemporary feel. Family Worship service - 11:00am every 3rd Sunday of the month
  4. Prayers of the People
We believe prayer plays a pivotal role in our life as individual seekers of God, and as members of a church body. Everyone has an opportunity to submit a written prayer request to be lifted during both services.
  5. Come as you are
    Come as you are
You might find our 8:45am service a little less casual than our 11:00am service but it's not uncommon to see both jeans or heals at both. Please don't let what you wear keep you away. We're happy you're here.
  6. Fellowship and Coffee
We welcome you where you are - if you are comfortable in introducing yourself during our greeting time, that's great! But if not, that's ok too. Either way, please join us in-between services in our greeting foyer to share in excellent coffee (we have our own Wellspring Blend!) and a snack.

Worship Arts Ministry

Wellspring believes there are many ways to worship God in thanks and praise and we use our gifts as a reflection of his blessings upon us.  Our Music and Worship Arts Ministry witnesses the love of Jesus through music that is Spirit-led, not performance-based.

The goal of our Ministry is to reflect Wellspring's mission statement "To Care ... as Jesus Cares," by enhancing others' spiritual journeys through word and song. In addition to the joy of praising God through music, we enjoy the close Christian fellowship we share with one another. We are always seeking new members to be a part of our Music and Worship Arts Ministry! John Wesley's Rules of Singing

In Select Hymns: with Tunes Annext (1761), John Wesley, father of Methodism, included a short guide to singing this collection of Methodist hymns. Titled “Directions for Singing,” Wesley lays out seven principles when it comes to hymns. John's brother, Charles, composed more than 6500 hymns.

1. Learn these tunes before you learn any others, afterwards learn as many as you please.

2. Sing them exactly as they are printed here, without altering or mending them at all; and if you have learned to sing them otherwise, unlearn it as soon as you can.

3. Sing All – see that you join the congregation as frequently as you can. Let not a slight degree of weakness or weariness hinder you. If it is a cross to you, take it up and you will find a blessing.

4. Sing Lustily – and with good courage. Beware of singing as if you were half-dead or half-asleep; but lift up your voice with strength. Be no more afraid of your voice now, nor more ashamed of its being heard, than when you sang the songs of Satan.

5. Sing Modestly – do not bawl so as to be heard above or distinct from the rest of the congregation that you may not destroy the harmony, but strive to unite your voices together so as to make one melodious sound.

6. Sing in time – whatever time is sung, be sure to keep with it. Do not run before and do not stay behind it; but attend closely to the leading voices and move therewith as exactly as you can and take care not to sing too slow.  This drawling way naturally steals on all who are lazy; and it is high time to drive it out from amongus and sing all our tunes just as quick as we did at first.

7. Sing spiritually – have an eye to God in every word you sing. Aim at pleasing Him more than yourself, or any other creature. In order to attend strictly to the sense of what you sing, and see that your heart is not carried away with the sound, but offered to God continually; so shall your singing be such as the Lord will approve here, and reward when he cometh in the clouds of heaven.
